It took me a few pages to gear my mind to the world and as I fell into the spell it created, I found myself lost in a thrilling tale. A great storyline, twisted along with subplots, wrapped up with a glorious bow and hand delivered to my senses. I cannot wait to dive into book two of the series and I am so glad I picked this one up. Demons, magic, hope, and personalities larger than life. A thrilling read and I highly recommend this one. Kudos, Artemis, on a wicked imagination set loose within these pages.

Wow! What a great book. It reached out and grabbed me by the throat. If you like dark enthralling fiction this is the book for you. Non stop action, dark steamy flawed characters looking for redemption or not in some cases, and twists and turns abound. Best yet it is the start of a series which is a true story not just a stand alone that goes no where.
